We still have very low real estate listing numbers in Magnetawan with only 9 properties currently on the MLS. Homes for sale under $400,000 have been very hard to find for the last couple years and it appears this trend will continue in 2020.
The Magnetawan cottage market, which usually picks up in the spring, seems to also be a challenge. Waterfront properties are also scarce but that may change when the ice starts to come off the lakes. On Ahmic Lake there’s still over 12″ of ice so it may be a while yet!
